Ken Samuels is Director of Business
Communications and Corporate Sales for Meetings
Events & Conference Coordinators, Inc. He
oversees corporate, incentive and pharmaceutical
sales as well as design and coordination of
specialized events for MECC, which manages more
than 50 conferences per year. Mr. Samuels has
more than 20 years of experience in the
marketing and public relations fields with a
focus in the medical, pharmaceutical and
corporate areas as well as management of
conferences, special events and new product
launches.
Ken is a native of Florida, who has established
a reputation for excellence. The theatrical
flair that Ken brings to every event has earned
him a sensational reputation, resulting in his
being designated Best Planner 1995/96.
Now a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), he
began his career in theatre, after receiving a
Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from the
University of South Florida. When Ken arrived in
New York he quickly conquered the Great White
Way. His Broadway credits include Jesus Christ
Superstar, Hair and The Merry Widow.
With the idea of bringing "New York" theatrics
to South Florida conventions and special events,
Ken returned to Miami and established himself as
one of the area’s top producers. Over the years
he has designed, directed, produced and
motivated, numerous successful events,
conferences and conventions for major corporate
clients including AT&T, NFL, Lipton, MetLife,
Cigna Insurance, The Miami Dolphins, General
Medical Corporation, Seiko, ADP, Paramount Parks
and the Broward County Board of County
Commissioners.
